ATHENS, Ohio-- After four straight games on the road, the Ohio soccer team (6-4-0, 1-1 MAC) returns to Athens to continue Mid-American Conference play this weekend, taking on Toledo (3-7-0, 0-2 MAC) on Friday, Oct. 4 at 4 p.m., before wrapping up the weekend with defending MAC champion Bowling Green (4-4-2, 2-0-0 MAC) on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. Sunday's game is the annual Turn It Gold match, where Ohio supports the fight against childhood cancer.

Last season, Ohio defeated Toledo on the road, 1-0, however fell to Bowling Green, 3-1 during the regular season. Ohio would face the Falcons again in the MAC Tournament Semifinals, falling to BGSU, 1-0.

Toledo enters the matchup with the Bobcats with a 3-7-0 overall record and an 0-2 mark in MAC play. The Rockets are currently on a two-game losing streak which includes defeats against Buffalo and Akron. This season, Toledo has scored 13 goals, while allowing 19 goals against. The Rockets have also recorded 94 shots, with 49 of them on goal for a .521 shots on goal percentage.
Individually, Stephanie Currie leads Toledo with five goals, three assists and 13 points, while Sheridan Bufe is second on the team with five points, recording two goals and one assist.
