2015-2016 Season
Outdoor: Won the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational high jump reaching 1.68m and recording a personal best.
Indoor: Placed fourth at the SPIRE North Coast Indoor T&F Open high jump with a height of 1.55m… Recorded a season best in the high jump reaching 1.63m to take fifth at the Ohio State University Invitational… Placed 19th at the MAC Championship in the high jump with a height of 1.59m.
Prior to Ohio: Ran track and field for Big Walnut High School for four years under coaches Joe Evener and Mike Ryder... Earned the Coaches Award, Golden Eagle Award and the Archie Griffin Sportsmanship award... Named indoor and outdoor Team Captain senior year... Placed fifth in the indoor State meet high jump 2015... Set records in high jump at the Elite 8 Olentangy Orange 2015 and at the Gary Smith Invitational at Thomas Worthington 2015... Helped her team to become Central District Team Champions 2012-2014 and Outdoor District Runner-ups in 2013... Was involved in several extra-curricular activites including Drama Club, Debate Team, Mock Trial, Student Council, Levy Renewal Campaign and was Class President.
Personal: Daughter of Patrick and Kelly Kerns... Has one brother, Dowan... Enjoys theatre, traveling, film, dad jokes and eating.
