Ohio Cross Country Finishes Day at All-Ohio Championships

CEDARVILLE, Ohio. – Ohio men's and women's cross country finish a solid day at the All-Ohio Championships, finishing sixth and fourth respectively.

The Bobcat women ran well, with two runners in the top-10. Redshirt senior Madison Sury (Waterford, Ohio) ran a 22:28.7 in the women's 6K collegiate, while junior Hailey Bowes finished with a time of 22:30.2.

The men's team saw redshirt junior Griffin Butler (Newark, Ohio) lead the pack for the Bobcats, running the 8K with a time of 25:46.2, good enough for a top-10 finish. Also towards the top was sophomore Seth Gard (Eaton, Ohio), finishing with a time of 26:09.5.

Next Saturday, Oct. 5th both men's and women's cross country head to Louisville, Ky. to take part in Louisville Cross Country Classic.
